Summary: "A Most Willing Student" began life as a challenge response. I had the idea of writing two stories, showing the two sides of an elevator ride to the fourth floor of the hospital. Prior to that, I had toyed with the idea of writing a slash story about John Carter and Peter Benton. Every time they were on screen together, I was struck by the incredible chemistry between the two men. So, the fanfic challenge hinted at the slash and then I was convinced to write Peter and John's story. The story is set in Season 5.
